Like most people, I've worked on solid teams and dysfunctional ones. Looking back, I can easily see why I stuck around or left. When things aren't as healthy as they should be, it's frustrating for everyone around the table. Conflict is draining for team leaders and members alike. When every meeting feels like "Groundhog Day," everyone questions the leader's effectiveness and loses hope about a healthy tomorrow.

My years as a classroom teacher and adult educator have shown me that the best leaders create space for growth. Most of the skills we need to create a healthy culture are teachable. My approach is to build connections between experiences, prior knowledge and new knowledge. Humans learn best when they can relate concepts to life. That's the art and science of development and growth.

Using my certification with trusted tools (DISC and Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team), I guide growth-minded leaders and their teams through a tailored, engaging, human-first approach to creating health. No organization should be stuck paying the price of broken communication and rocky relationships. Every team can learn and create what we all want - a place to thrive and do something that matters.
