The Heart of Jasper Lives On
“I found my heart, but I left a piece of me behind.”
Jasper is more than a town—it’s a feeling, a connection, a piece of your heart that you carry wherever life takes you. For so many, it’s not just a destination; it’s a sanctuary and a reminder of the beauty of connection—with nature, with others, and with ourselves.
When the Jasper Food Bank was devastated by fire, it wasn’t just a building that was lost—it was a piece of what makes this community so special. Supporting its rebuilding means preserving the spirit of Jasper and ensuring that everyone who finds their heart here can feel its generosity and care.

Meet Bonnie & The Jasper Kindness Rock Project…
The Kindness Rocks Project, Jasper is a heartfelt initiative born from personal and collective grief, turning loss into an opportunity for healing and community support.
Key Highlights of the Project:
Inspired by The Kindness Rocks Project (founded by Megan Murphy in 2016, now in 92 countries).
Founded by Bonnie Hoffmann, who turned to rock painting as a therapeutic activity during her breast cancer journey (2023/24).
The project gained momentum following the Jasper Wildfire Complex of 2024, which caused immense loss in Jasper National Park.
The initiative aims to raise $10,000 for the Jasper Food Bank Society through painting events.
A Legacy Garden of Kindness Rocks is being created as a lasting symbol of hope and encouragement.
How to get involved:
Participate in painting events to create kindness rocks.
Support Rockon4Jasper.ca, the official fundraiser.
Spread awareness and contribute to the Jasper Food Bank Society.
This project beautifully blends art, kindness, and community support, offering a way to heal and help others in difficult times. Would you be interested in learning more about upcoming events or ways to contribute?
The biggest story of it all …
People forming community and uniting to support Jasper and the Food Bank.
The people who paint, who tell their stories, who donate.
Those who want to come together and be a part of something bigger.
