More Than Your Style: How DISC Builds Stronger, More Cohesive Teams
Episode Summary
Most leaders know their DISC style — but knowing your own style is only half the picture. When you look at your whole team’s composition, you start to see why certain problems keep showing up, who’s filling the gaps, and what it actually takes to build a team that works well together. DISC isn’t just a self-awareness tool. It’s a team tool.
Key Points:
Knowing your DISC style gives you a map of your own tendencies — how you communicate, what motivates you, and where you’re likely to create friction without meaning to.
A team report shows you where your team’s collective energy goes and where it doesn’t, making blind spots visible so you can stop running into the same problems without understanding why.
Once you can see your team’s DISC composition, you can have honest conversations about gaps without it being personal — and start building toward the kind of cohesion where people work with each other deliberately, not just tolerate each other.
